You’ve spent twenty years building expertise inside someone else’s business.
I’m Rez. I’m a Certified Primal Health Coach, a Business Builder & Business Coach, and a former trucking company owner who spent years learning the difference between running hard and running smart.
DSL Life is for Gen X professionals — ages 44 to 60 — who are ready to turn decades of real-world experience into a location-independent business that fits inside a life instead of consuming one. If you’ve been thinking about building something of your own but don’t want to rebuild the same treadmill with a different logo, you’re in the right place.
Everything here is built on three pillars:
Tools, automation, and systems that let you run a business in under four hours a day. Content strategy, platform mastery, productivity infrastructure. The machinery that does the heavy lifting so you don’t have to.
Strategy, business formation, and lean launch methodology. How to package what you know into something people pay for — without burning six months and ten thousand dollars to find out if it works.
Health, longevity, and relationships. The foundation that prevents the other two pillars from rebuilding a faster treadmill. This one carries the most weight — because once the business works, living well is the point.
Most business communities lead with hustle and sprinkle in a wellness tip at the end. I built this one the other way around. Health is the foundation, not the afterthought. Because I watched too many capable people build impressive businesses and arrive at the finish line with nothing left in the tank to enjoy what they’d built. DSL exists so that doesn’t happen to you.
Not sure where to start?
Before a truck moves, it gets inspected. Tires, brakes, lights, fluids. You check the machine before you ask it to carry the load.
The Pre-Trip Inspection is a fifteen-minute self-assessment I built for people in exactly your position. It covers four areas: your experience inventory, your freedom number, your vitality baseline, and your time reality. No score. No judgment. No pitch at the end. Just an honest look at where you’re actually starting from.
It’s the first thing I’d do if I were sitting across from you.

If any of this landed, the best next step is the Weekly Magazine. It’s free, it arrives every Tuesday, and it’s the thread that connects everything I’m building. Original writing, curated picks, expert conversations, and the occasional thought I had at two in the morning that turned out to be worth sharing.
When you subscribe, you’ll also receive a short series of personal letters from me over the first two weeks. They’re the foundation — who I am, what I’ve built, why health sits at the center of a business community, and what the convoy is all about.
If you’re past the thinking stage and ready to build alongside other people doing the same thing, DSL Life has a community for that. It’s called the Incubator — a workspace, a curriculum, live sessions, and a convoy of Gen X builders who agreed on one thing: nobody should drive alone on a long road.
I built this for the people in the middle — the ones with the drive to build and the wisdom to ask what they’re building toward. If that sounds like you, pull up a chair. The convoy’s forming.
